Coffee Table Supports - Mira
The "mira" trestles were a 4 week long woodshop project. Sourcing materials strictly from poplar wood, the trestles are capable of supporting over 500 pounds of stress. Starting with an initial prototyping phase, the mira trestles developed into a trapezoidal form that reflects complexity in a material that is normally boxy.

Elevation Chairs - Twin Copies
The elevation chair was a 4 week long metal shop project. Drawing inspiration from Marcel Breuer and other 1930's chair designers, the Elevation chair was a modern attempt in bending tubular steel for chair framing. A unique rod-pin system was implemented so that the chair had lateral support without requiring any welding. This dynamic pin system enabled the chair to be easily replicated and disassembled.
